The Case Against Comrade Zohran

Why Everyone - Especially Muslims - Should Vote Against Zohran Kwame Mamdani

"He is extremely charismatic and that is why he is extremely dangerous. I think he lies even when he smiles. I have a lot of strong opinions about him. His middle name is after the dictator of Guana, not some civil rights leader but someone who was named president for life....He does not want to make NY city into Scandinavia, he wants to make it like Venezuela. The question is if we will let him, if America will allow these socialist ideas take over."

                                                                - Daniel Di Martino, Venezuelan Dissident

No-one should vote for Mamdani but I think that Muslims might especially be allured to his candidacy as he presents himself as a Muslim. I am not a population expert and I cant tell people what should be their hierarchy of values. All I can do is lay out who this man is and make the case for why him being mayor would be corrosive for society and terrible for NY.
I do not have an issue with him being Muslim. The problem with him is that he is a communist, he will destroy American prosperity and he supports ideas that are against the Koran and against God - castration of minors, abortion and prostitution. I think there is a shift happening in the Muslim world - a schism between the Islamists and the freedom loving Muslims. So a Muslim living in Israel or America who loves democracy and freedom I would prefer that over a left wing atheist or even a Jew hating liberal Christian.
If I can convince Muslims to turn against him hopefully Catholics, Mormons, Jews, Hindus and any other decent and sensible person will likewise be persuaded to do everything in their power to thwart the rise of this snake oil salesman.
Mamdani claims that he supports Palestine out of deeply held humanitarian values. Yet where is he when Hamas is publicly executing innocent civilians? He refuses to condemn them or their actions and says he has no opinion on whether they should lay down their arms.
The day after October 7 Mamdani criticized Israel before they had even fought back.

This shows to me that his advocacy is not necessarily in support of Palestinians but rather pro-Hamas, pro-terror.
Bear in mind that many innocent Muslims have been slaughtered around the globe by Islamic terrorism, most famously Mallala Yousafi.
Even if you like to see a US politician speak up for Palestine I don't think a coward who defends those who use the phrase "globalize the intifata" is the guy for you. Let's say that you are convinced that he aligns with your beliefs regarding middle eastern politics, he himself has said, "I am running for mayor of NY." There is little he could do in that position to help the starving children in Gaza.

Mamdani is not just a communist and an anti-semite. He has demonstrated bigotry against Hindus and he hates America.
    From the Times of India:
Lakshima Bandlamudi, a psychology professor at LaGuardia Community College in Queens, recalled her disappointment when Mamdani clinched the Democratic nomination earlier this year. For Bandlamudi, the deeper issue is harmony in one of the world's most diverse cities: "To live in harmony in a diverse city like NY - that is what matters most to the Hindu community. When one community is pitted against another, the harmony is destroyed. Mamdani is too divisive."

Here he is giving the middle finger to a statue of Columbus.

He says he is just criticizing America's flaws and striving for a more perfect union. JD Vance disaagrees - Mamdani's constant criticism and denigration show a lack of gratitude fo the country that has given him so much. When he cosplays as a poor person from the third world eating rice with his hands...well he presented his case and now you get to decide where you believe his true intentions lie.

The Muslim Case Against Mamdani

As far as him being Muslim - if you are a devout Muslim, I highly doubt he adheres to the same religion that you do. Here are some examples of his creative interpretation of Islam. He defends abortion and wants to increase abortion access. He wants to legalize prostitution and he encourages the basest of sexual deviancies up to and including celebrating a dancing drag queen. Orthodox Jews don't really concern themselves with intersectionality and transgenderism - to them this does not even exist. I would imagine that for conservative and devout Muslims the attitude on these issues would be similar. But at some point when the children in your city are suffering and being exploited you can no longer turn a blind eye. God forbid your daughter gets swept up in this ideology - Zorhan wants her to get puberty blockers, sex change hormones and even surgery to remove her body parts.
This travesty happens to girls as young as 15 as testified to by Chloe Cole. Her parents were bullied into supporting this terrible choice. When Zorhan becomes mayor he will remove this potential barrier. Girls and boys possibly as young as 12 years old will receive these medical interventions without parental consent.
How will they pay for it? Your tax dollars. You will be complicit in supplying mild altering chemicals and chopping off healthy body parts for children who are too young to know better. These interventions can cause lifelong inability to experience sexual pleasure and can cause these children to be infertile.

The economic case against Communist Mayoral Candidate Mamdani:

I would imagine that some Muslims who move to NY do so for economic reasons. They left their country of origin at great risk and expense in search of prosperity and a better life. I see a sweeping change across the Arab and Muslims world towards trade, wealth and a greater standard of living. The Abraham accords were as much about economic advantage as they were about peace. Arabs I met in Israel share this vision of pursuing a better life for themselves and their family.
The Venezuelan dictator brought Palestinians over to his country in order to "stick it" to Israel. The living conditions were so terrible they went back to war torn Gaza. Even scared refugees said we prefer occupation to communism.
Mamdani claims he is not a communist but he is lying. He wants government takeover of industries, he said so in a previous video using the exact Marxist phrase "takeover the means of production." He walks that back, as he does any number of things he has said, yet one of his stated policies is government owned grocery stores. This is a violation of the natural order and the principle of subsidiary. Private business should own the production and distribution of goods - government ownership of industry is directly from the Communist Manifesto and one of the key policies that destroyed Venezuela. He promised to freeze the rent - this is price controls. Another policy that is harmful and evil. The government has no right to dictate what price you are allowed to purchase and sell products freely on the market.
Mamdani has clearly stated, "I have may critiques of capitalism," and "I don't believe that there should be billionaires." He wants to raise corporate tax rates and dismisses concerns that capitol will leave the state. In the Nordic countries they actually have lower corporate tax rates than in America. He wants to tax the rich so that he can give to the poor quoting Martin Luther King Jr as a justification. There is nothing Christian or biblical about socialism. The bible says that each man sat under his olive tree and in his vineyard - not communal. In Catholic teaching envy is considered a capitol sin - the worst. Communism, and its precursor socialism, is an ideology that rests on sin.

Other troubling things he has said is that the NYPD is racist, homophobic, should be defunded and that prisons ought to be abolished. He wants unarmed social workers to show up to domestic violence calls - environments that are known to be the most volatile and dangerous law enforcement encounters. Mamdani is not just a radical - he is a lunatic.

Here is what Judaism has to say about some of Mamdani's policies (from Aish.com AI):

Judaism values justice, fairness, and the dignity of every human being. The Torah emphasizes helping the poor and ensuring that society cares for its vulnerable members. However, it also upholds the importance of personal responsibility, private property, and the balance between individual effort and communal support.
When evaluating policies like wealth redistribution or government control, it’s essential to consider whether they align with these principles. For example, while the Torah commands us to give charity (tzedakah), it does so as a moral obligation, not through forced redistribution. Charity is meant to elevate both the giver and the recipient, fostering a sense of mutual responsibility and dignity.
Policies that centralize control over production or prices can raise concerns about limiting individual freedom and initiative, which are also values Judaism holds dear. The Torah encourages people to work hard, innovate, and contribute to society, while also ensuring that their success benefits others.
Ultimately, the question is whether such policies promote justice and human dignity or whether they risk creating dependency and stifling personal growth. It’s worth examining the specifics of Mamdani’s proposals through this lens.

I stand behind Brandon Straka's statement:

"...We are starting today a movement. A movement is beginning in New York City to stop democratic socialism dead in its tracks. what Zorhan Mani has done. And listen,
I'm not here to bash his character. I'm not here to bash his religion or his background."

He continued and said: "I recognize that Zoron Mandani has captured the interest and the attention of many people in Gen Z, many people in minority communities, and a lot of people think that he is the answer to their problems. Why? Because the pain points that he's talking about are very, very real. New York City is unaffordable for people. Rent prices, rents are too high. Groceries are unaffordable. The struggle is real in New York. But there's just one problem. Democratic socialism takes vulnerable people and lies to them and tells them that the government will solve all of their problems."

Charlie Kirk pointed out that Mamdani's win highlights a larger problem in society. John Adams said that American Freedom is only appropriate for a religious and virtuous people. Daniel Di Martino says that the real solutions to the nations problems will not be found in political answers. Though defeating him is just the start of the movement to restore peace and prosperity in America if Mamdani gets elected it will cause untold damage and harm and must be prevented with every tool possible.

Your moral Duty to Join the Fight:

Some feel that his candidacy is inevitable - you have a combination of Cuomo's baggage and Sliwa's low polling that threaten to split the anti-communist vote so why bother?
In a recent interview in California, Gubernatorial Candidate Katie Porter imploded and made a fool of herself. She berated the journalist and demanded she be afforded a pleasant experience. This woman is a bully with terrible policy so there was jubilee and celebration to see this downfall of her own making. This is how the interview fell off the rails:
"What do you say to the 40% of CA voters who you'll need in order to win, who voted for Trump?" Porter was asked by CBS California's Julie Watts during a segment on the controversial redistricting effort launched by Democrats in the state.
"How would I need them in order to win, ma'am?" Porter, considered by many to be the frontrunner in the race, responded.
"Well, unless you think you're going to get 60% of the vote," the reporter, asking about the voter breakdown of Democrats and Republicans in the state, said before Porter started laughing.
Yes, Kamala Harris won California in the 2024 election - everyone knew that she would. But voting is not just about who gets elected to office, it is about having your voice heard. I would imagine that many Republicans and anti-Kamala independents in California stayed home knowing that Trump was sure to lose their State. Why bother? That makes it even more impressive that he won 40% of the vote in arguably the most forward facing liberal state in the union. That many people came out just to have their voice heard. Their efforts paid off and during this redistricting fight and in the run-up to the next election journalists and politicians are taking their wishes into account.
How does this relate to the November 2025 mayoral race in NY? I know that as an anti-Mamdani campaigner, I do not need to merely convince you that Mamdani is dangerous and terrible for NY, but that even if his victory appears inevitable, making your voice heard is your moral imperative. As I lay out everything he stands for think if any one thing you feel is so evil and beyond the pale that you have a civic duty to let the world know that New Yorkers stand against this. In Judaism we are taught that the decisions of rulers are in the hand of God but that does not exempt us from our responsibility as a citizen. What will you say to your children when they ask you if you spoke up when an avowed socialist set his sights on NY?

News tip - he is being investigated for taking foreign money. There is hope that he can be defeated. Do not give up because the fight is not lost.

NYC exodus begins in anticipation of Mamdani win

Donald Trump's Statement on Mamdani:

Mamdani's statement on Oct 7, 2025.

Two years ago today, Hamas carried out a horrific war crime, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and kidnapping 250 more. I mourn these lives and pray for the safe return of every hostage still held and for every family whose lives were torn apart by these atrocities.
In the aftermath of that day, Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Israeli government launched a genocidal war: a death toll that now far exceeds 67,000; with the Israeli military bombing homes, hospitals, and schools into rubble. Every day in Gaza has become a place where grief itself has run out of language. I mourn these lives and pray for the families that have been shattered. Our government has been complicit through it all.
This must end. The occupation and apartheid must end. Peace must be pursued through diplomacy, not war crimes, and our government must act to end these atrocities and hold those responsible to account.
These last two years have demonstrated the very worst of humanity. We must answer it by modeling the very best: a relentless pursuit of our higher ideals and an unwavering commitment to universal human rights.
Israel's response:
“By repeating Hamas’s lies, he excuses terror and normalizes antisemitism. He stands with Jews only when they are dead. Shameful,” the post said.
